Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder Fabricator-Millwright role based in Houston, TX. The role involves performing welding and fabrication tasks on industrial equipment and structures, including cutting, fitting, and assembling metal components according to blueprints and specifications. The Welder Fabricator-Millwright will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems, conveyors, pumps, and related machinery in mining and industrial facilities. Daily responsibilities include inspecting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, ensuring proper alignment and installation of components, and adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

The role may require working in varied industrial environments, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with other trades and project teams to complete assignments on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Welding and Arc Welding for industrial and structural applications.
• Demonstrated skills in TIG Welding and MIG Welding for a variety of materials and thicknesses.
• Knowledge of Materials, including properties of metals, alloys, and appropriate filler materials.
• Experience as a millwright, including installation, alignment, and maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety practices, including use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company guidelines.
• Experience with cutting, grinding, and metal fabrication tools and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding or millwright work is an asset.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
