Installation Technician, Field/Service Technician, AV Technician
AV Technician - Audio Visual Systems | Houston, TX Join Next Level Technician as an AV Technician in Houston, TX! Earn $22-32/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing.
Responsibilities:- Install, terminate, and test AV cabling, including HDMI, audio, and CAT6/6A
- Install AV systems in conference rooms, huddle spaces, training rooms, and commercial environments
- Mount and install projectors, screens, monitors, speakers, cameras, and other AV equipment
- Rack and wire AV systems, patch panels, and headend equipment
- Troubleshoot and service existing AV systems
- Work with commercial camera and video systems
- Read and interpret AV system blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Work safely on ladders/lifts and be comfortable with heights
- Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites
- Travel throughout the Houston area to various job sites as needed
- 2+ years of commercial AV installation experience
- Experience with AV system installation, integration, and troubleshooting
- Camera system experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
- Experience with Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, or similar systems is a plus
- BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
- Manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE required
- Willingness to travel throughout the Houston area as needed
