Refugee Resettlement | Case Manager, General

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is looking for a dedicated individual to manage refugee resettlement programs, ensuring clients achieve independence through orientation, job development, and family reunification.

• Assess client eligibility for program services, complete intakes, and create individualized service plans. Provide services identified on the service plan in a timely manner. Make necessary referrals within and outside the agency as needed, ensuring services are provided in accordance with LEP policy.
• Maintain client files, update case notes, and keep the calendar up to date. Ensure all client information and activities are tracked in Client Track and Refugee Management Solution.
• Perform other duties as assigned such as outreach, training volunteers and interns, airport pick‑ups, and project assistance.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• One (1) year experience in an administrative setting or with refugee populations
• Valid Texas driver’s license

• Organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work with diverse people
• Skillful documentation of case notes
• Ability to provide group and individual orientations
• Confidentiality handling of client information
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
