About the Opportunity
Odyssey is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Lead to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards throughout their development and deployment life cycles. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining tools and processes for collecting and documenting software quality metrics, auditing Odyssey’s products and processes, reporting results to stakeholders across the company, and ensuring findings are appropriately addressed.

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Lead should have a deep knowledge of modern software development and test methodologies, a keen eye for detail, and the tenacity to ensure the necessary rigor and quality are met every day.
Need To Haves- 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance including demonstrated experience with requirements decomposition or verification
- 5+ years of experience with modern software development methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with C++, Python, or other programming languages
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent / relevant degree from an accredited university
- U.S. Citizen (or Permanent Resident) is required due to the nature of the work
- Experience with NASA standards, such as NASA NPR 7150 and NASA-STD-8739.8
- Experience with human spaceflight programs
- Experience with DoD requirements and standards
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools
This position can be performed from our Houston, TX or Boulder, CO locations. This is not a remote position, but the work environment is flexible.
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience with an expected annual salary range between $100,000 and $160,000 with potential for additional incentives and benefits.
