Python Data Engineer

Overview

Role: Python Data Engineer

Location: Houston, TX 77002 (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Duration: 12+ month contract with possible extension

• 3-5 years of strong Python development experience
• Expertise in FastAPI and microservices architecture
• Experience with deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools
• Familiarity with automated testing and test-driven development (TDD)
• Proficient in Git source control, Git Actions, CI/CD, VS Code, and Git Hub Copilot
• Expertise in both on-premises SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, DB2) and No
  
  SQL databases
• Working knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
• Ability to explain business functionality of previous projects and applications
• Optional:
  Cloud computing experience (AWS, GCS, Azure not required)
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
