DPR Construction invites you to join as a Principal AI Engineer. This role is part of our AI & Data team, focusing on design and deployment of AI agents and copilots for the construction industry.

• Lead design of AI/ML infrastructures and platforms.
• Own end‑to‑end AI projects – prompt engineering, workflow design, model deployment, A/B testing.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, set high technical standards.
• Write code in Python, build APIs and microservices, integrate models into existing systems.
• Stay current with AI technologies such as LLMs and agentic patterns.
• Collaborate with cross‐functional teams – product, business, security.
• Apply analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges.
• Develop AI integration plans to enhance processes and productivity.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AI solutions through best practices.

• At least 3 years of software development, 2 years of generative AI with LLMs.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
• Experience with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, agentic workflows, LLM training.
• Experience with data connectors, API gateways, seamless system communication.
• Expertise in AI tools – Copilot Studio, OpenAI, Semantic Kernels, Azure AI, Google Gemini, M365 Copilot, Anthropic, AWS.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps.
• Strong Python programming and AI/ML frameworks.
• Proficiency with vector databases, embedding models for retrieval.
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs is a plus.
• Strategic thinking and problem solving.
