Senior Software Engineer – Backend

Are you a backend engineer who loves building clean, scalable APIs and solving complex problems with Python?

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Houston. This role is heavily focused on Python and FastAPI
, and you'll play a key role in designing and building backend services that power critical business applications in the renewable energy space.

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
• Build scalable backend services and distributed systems
• Work with AWS services such as RDS, SQS, and S3
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and Argo
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Experience building APIs with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-native applications
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with React or other frontend technologies
