Computer Enterprises, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a talented Full Stack .NET Developer to join our Client's dynamic team.

Job at a glance:

This is a long-term contract, with an initial term of 6months, planned for extension and/or permanent placement
Eligible to sign up for benefits(Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k) on day 1
Preference for hybrid onsite 2 days/wk in West Houston (near Westpark Tollway and Beltway 8/Sam Houston Tollway) but open to remote if a local candidate cannot be found

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack .NET Developer to join a growing application development team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise business applications while collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using modern development practices.
Lead and contribute to full software development lifecycle activities, including architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Build and maintain both frontend and backend components of business-critical applications.
Support, develop, and enhance ETL and data integration processes.
Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver business-focused solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while providing ongoing application support.
Participate in Dev Ops, CI/CD, and cloud modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise with:
- C#
- .NET / .NET Core
- React
- Azure Cloud Services
Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
Experience with source control systems such as Git.
Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment processes.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure Dev Ops.
Experience supporting data integration or ETL processes.
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and modern frontend architecture.
Experience modernizing or enhancing legacy applications.
Prior experience in tax, financial, planning, or enterprise business applications.
Houston-based candidates are a plus.
