Join the Air & Ocean Freight division of a top global freight forwarder in Houston. You’ll manage international ocean shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with carriers, brokers, and customers for smooth end-to-end logistics.
Base pay range$55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Handle full-cycle ocean import and export operations
- Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation
- Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, and clients
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and international trade regulations
- 2+ year experience in ocean import/export for a freight forwarder
- Knowledge of customs, FMC, and global trade processes
- Proficient with freight forwarding software (Cargo Wise, SAP, AS400)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
