LEAD DRIVER

Lead Driver

Sky Hop Global LLC is seeking a Lead Driver Supervisor to manage and schedule a fleet of drivers supporting airline crews during layover periods.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.50 per hour

• Lead by Example:
  Direct driver operations for a group of drivers, ensuring optimal cost efficiency and superior customer experiences.
• Inspire Excellence:
  Provide leadership and direction to drivers through coaching, feedback, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain Efficiency:
  Assist in minimizing overtime, stepping in during emergency situations to uphold service standards.
• Develop Talent:
  Support the Station Manager in recruiting, training, and mentoring transport drivers to uphold Sky Hop Global's standards of excellence.
• Ensure Safety:
  Promote safe work practices through regular safety audits, station safety meetings, and individual staff discussions.
• Administrative Support:
  Assist the Station Manager with managing local permits, vehicle registrations, and timely communication with finance for renewals.
• Relationship Management:
  Maintain positive professional relationships with airport ground transportation authorities, attending meetings as required.
• Compliance:
  Complete required paperwork promptly and adhere to company policies and protocols.

• 10‑hour shift.
• 8‑hour shift.
• Day, evening, holiday, and weekend duty as needed.

• Mid‑senior level experience in transportation or driver supervision.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in ground transportation.

This role may require field work ranging from 50-75% of scheduled time.
