Position Description

Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Yard Truck Driver in Houston, TX. This role focuses on working an exclusive yard assignment with local home daily routes.

Pay: $800 or more per week. Paid training provided. Schedule varies.

• Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers within the yard.
• Follow all safety & DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards.
• Provide excellent customer service and complete continuous training.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Maintain accurate move and yard inventory records.
• Complete any other tasks assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Verified driving experience with equipment such as yard tractor or dry van 48/53'. 9 months experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, DOT physical, and yard driver examination.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions and interpret regulations.

• Boot allowance provided.
• Paid personal time off starts at Day 1; 80 hours accrued in the first year.
