Shipping Planner; G-Project

Position: Shipping Planner (G-Project)

• The Shipping Planner is responsible for all exports and loading, fulfilling PGI goals and OB warehouse operations.
• The purpose of the Shipping Planner is the efficient and correct process.

Main Function:

• The Shipping Planner is responsible for all exports and loading, fulfilling PGI goals and OB warehouse operations.
• The purpose of the Shipping Planner is the efficient and correct outbound process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct supervision to outbound process:

• The Shipping Planner will be responsible for ensuring efficient shipping capacity based on customer request and after forwarders instruction, order priority and production skills.
• The Shipping Planner will be responsible for support the outbound team with the providing the necessary information in a timely manner, training and development of systems as required.

Shipment consolidations & trailer arrangements:

• The Shipping Planner will be responsible for sending the trailer bookings to the forwarder.
• The Shipping Planner has to provide the information about direct shipments and transportation instructions for S&D department, from the customer and also from forwarder.

Paperwork flow tracking:

• The Shipping Planner has to follow up all the information through all the used systems (SAP, SFC, general reports) and ensuring the right receiving all of them and check the paperwork. This means signed TO, CMR, complementation certificate, loading record, etc.

Responsible for triggering correct PGI:

• After truck loading have to check with all necessary dates and papers which contain important information regarding the loaded shipment and make the correct PGI in SAP.

Responsible for daily Shipping plans and Shipped reports:

• The Shipping Planner will be responsible for ensuring all day-to-day communication with the forwarder and customer’s logistic department. This includes shipping plan, details about loading, shipped report, reschedules, pre/alert, etc.
• Has to take care about the truck split from the forwarder and organize the shipping plan according to demands. Also has to take care of the scheduling of the trailers load.

Teamwork:

• The Shipping Planner will be responsible for cooperation with other departments that will be required to achieve the operational objectives. The Shipping Planner should be able to solve problematic situations, analyze the data and with the support of the relevant groups make the best decision to drive the business forward. It will also be required to be in contact closely with the production department.

Qualification

and

Experience:

• Relevant logistic experience.

Primary

Skills:

• Good communication, presentations, verbal, analytical, logical ability, interested in solutions.
• Is able to work independent and in group also. Be responsible for the others work. Must be loyal, calling. Do the job punctual and to be able to make priorities.
• Good communication skills in English also written and verbal.

Secondary skills:

• SAP.
• Have leader and organization ability with stress.
• Customs skills.
