Iberia Foods is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to transport goods to various customer locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

*** Safely operate company vehicles (vans, trucks) to deliver food products to grocery stores, restaurants, and other commercial clients within designated routes.
* Load and unload merchandise, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling to prevent damage.
* Verify delivery manifests against actual products loaded and delivered.
* Obtain necessary signatures and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues.
* Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance needs or mechanical problems.
* Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle.
* Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.

Job Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required depending on vehicle class and route).
* Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the workday.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning applications.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
