Warehouse Inventory Associate

Location: Houston, TX

Reports To: Distribution Center Manager, Operations

Schedule: Hours TBD by manager. Nights, weekends and overtime periodically.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, position and location.

• Perform physical inventory cycle counts.
• Responsible for validating incoming goods and recording documentation.
• Inspect, verify, and organize stock throughout the warehouse.
• Keep data integrity organized and updated.
• Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with established safety procedures and practices.
• Investigate cycle count variances and resolve issues.
• Responsible for recording and tracking all documents relating to the physical inventories.
• Report on variances and their root causes, focusing on process improvement.
• Responsible for tank inventory and yard trailer inventory; daily reconciliation.
• Data entry; manual inventory counts into SAP.
• Communicate with terminals, hubs, supply chain and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze and record gains, losses.
• Provide support for yearly audit.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

• Must have warehouse inventory related experience.
• Must be local (live within 60 miles).
• Advanced mathematical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including spelling and grammar.
• Valid driver's license, and a good driving record.
• Courteous and professional demeanor.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (minimum 15 lbs.).
• Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.

• SAP Experience.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
• 1 year inventory experience.
