Bilingual Warehouse Associate

Clayton Services is seeking a Bilingual Warehouse Associate to join a leading food distribution company in North Houston. The Bilingual Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate movement, organization, and delivery of perishable and frozen food products.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $16-$18/hour, plus OT

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (one-hour lunch)

Bilingual Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Safely operate stand-up reach trucks (Raymond brand preferred) and electric pallet jacks to move, stack, and organize pallets of product
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, ensuring product accuracy, condition, and temperature compliance
• Pull, stage, and pack orders according to pick tickets and delivery schedules
• Maintain proper rotation (FIFO) and product placement to ensure food safety and freshness
• Perform regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliation, verifying stock accuracy and identifying discrepancies
• Assist with receiving shipments, checking product quantities, and inspecting for damage or spoilage
• Keep warehouse aisles, docks, and staging areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Work in refrigerated and frozen warehouse environments while following safety and PPE guidelines
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, drivers, and team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Participate in general maintenance and cleaning tasks to uphold warehouse sanitation and safety standards
• Adhere to all company policies, food handling guidelines, and OSHA safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Bilingual Warehouse Associate Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a stand-up reach truck (Raymond brand preferred) and pallet jack required
• Prior experience in food distribution or logistics (Sysco, US Foods, Ben
  
  E. Keith, etc.) strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
