Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a contract opportunity in Houston, TX. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates who enjoy active warehouse work, steady production tasks, and being part of a team-focused operation.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will support recycling and production operations by feeding paper, magazines, and cardboard onto a conveyor system to be shredded and repurposed into acoustic thermal insulation. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain warehouse experience, contribute to a practical production process, and work in a structured environment with clear safety expectations.

The work environment is an enclosed warehouse setting that is not climate controlled and may be dusty due to paper shredding operations. Candidates who are reliable, safety-minded, comfortable standing for long shifts, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment are encouraged to apply.

• Feed paper, magazines, and cardboard onto a conveyor belt for shredding and recycling production.
• Maintain a steady workflow to support daily warehouse and production goals.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment, including steel toe or composite safety shoes or boots.
• Keep the work area organized and clear of unnecessary debris to support safe operations.
• Stand for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift, with scheduled breaks.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed to support production needs.

• Pay Rate: $15 per hour.
• Job Type: 1-month contract with the possibility of extension.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM.
• Some Saturdays may be required as needed.

  Houston, TX.

• Feed recyclable paper products onto a conveyor system for shredding.
• Support warehouse production operations in a dusty, enclosed environment.
• Follow safety protocols and use required protective footwear.
• Maintain consistent productivity during 12-hour shifts.
• Less than 1 year of experience required.
• Must be able to stand throughout the workday, including most of a 12-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Must wear steel toe or composite safety shoes or boots.
• Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Must be able to follow safety training, instructions, and workplace communication.
• English speaking or bilingual ability is preferred due to safety training and communication requirements.
• Reliable attendance, attention to safety, and ability to work well in a team environment are important for success.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Awareness of warehouse safety protocols.
• Experience working in production, recycling, material handling, or general labor environments.
