We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position plays an important role in receiving, storing, organizing, and preparing flooring materials for customer orders and shipments.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Receive and unload incoming flooring shipments and containers
- Inspect materials for damage and verify quantities against receiving documents
- Move and organize flooring materials throughout the warehouse
- Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely
- Properly label and sticker incoming products
- Put inventory away in the appropriate warehouse locations
- Pull and stage customer orders accurately
- Verify product, quantities, weights, and dimensions
- Prepare orders for shipment, including wrapping, strapping, and securing materials
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Confirm Bills of Lading and shipping documentation
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle flooring materials
- Ability to work on your feet and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
- Must be safety-conscious and able to follow company procedures
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up reliably, pays attention to detail, and is willing to help wherever needed. Experience in flooring, building materials, distribution, or a similar warehouse environment is a plus.
