Receiving Associate

Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accepting, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments. This role ensures all inventory entering the facility is accurate, undamaged, and properly logged into the system.

• Unload incoming delivery trucks safely using hand trucks or material handling equipment.
• Inspect packages and pallets for damage, discrepancies, or missing items.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• Unpack, count, and sign for incoming goods, reporting any damaged or incorrect items to management.
• Enter receiving data into the inventory management system accurately and promptly.
• Sort, stage, and deliver received items to appropriate department stocking areas or team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving dock area.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse or receiving experience is a plus.
• Basic math and computer skills for data entry and inventory verification.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for the duration of the shift.
