Job Summary:

Warehouse Associates/ Shipping Clerks are responsible for carrying out an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming and outgoing deliveries . S tock ing and sort ing materials , parts and Equipment . P icking and filling orders from stock for transfers. P acking and shipping orders if applicable . Tracking and managing any inbound or outbound deliveries shipped to and from our facilities .

Maintaining a clean , organized and safe work area and surrounding area .

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company
• Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
• Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
• Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
• Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods

Physical Demands:

• Physically being able to lift 50 pounds or more
• Bending, kneeling, reaching, sitting and standing for long periods of times
• Ability to perform repetitive motions daily
• Warehouse setting (partial temperature controlled but can get hot during summer months)
• This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
• Can get loud with truck noise, forklift horn noise and deal with outside elements.
