A well known P&C insurance company is urgently looking to hire an Administrative Specialist to join their team on a HYBRID schedule in Howell, MI
.
This is a 6+ month contract to hire on W2 offering a full benefits package
Required Skills & Experience- 1-3 years of related secretarial or administrative experience
- Working knowledge of insurance experience, a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); MS Access knowledge a plus
- Under direct supervision, support the respective ML Operations business unit following established procedures.
- Resolve routine questions and problems; refer more complex issues to higher levels.
- Aid in servicing policies by processing requests, troubleshooting inquiries, answering questions, and performing varied tasks.
- Provide processing support to the business unit and ensure timely and accurate reporting to outside entities.
- Prepare reports and correspondence; provide telephone and administrative support as needed.
- Maintain data files including basic Excel work, prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, and legal notices.
- Maintain integrity of policy-supported documentation.
- Interface with team members to collaborate on daily work or assignments; may provide support to other areas.
- Frequent interface with team members and colleagues, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
