Program Assistant – Arthur Secunda Museum
The Program Assistant will support a monthly open house event in Chrysler Hall. The event will take place from 1-4 p.m. every Second Sunday starting September 2025 through May 2026.
Duties- Greet visitors, welcome them, and orient them to the museum
- Facilitate a family art activity in Chrysler 205 (e.g., torn paper collage, potato printmaking)
- Brainstorm and plan future art activities if students are interested
- Encourage visitors to participate in an evaluation activity (ex: survey, talkback board)
- Give tours and presentations if students are interested
- Familiarity with Arthur Secunda Museum and techniques such as collage and printmaking
- Basic museum education and interpretation skills
- Knowledge of visitor studies, program evaluation goals, and tools
