Resolute ISR, Inc. is seeking a qualified Unmanned Systems Configuration Manager to join the team in support of ITAR‑regulated Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) programs within a DoD‑contracted environment.
Job Responsibilities- Support and maintain the Configuration Management execution process for ITAR-regulated UAS systems.
- Manage multiple UAV configurations across production and sustainment.
- Create, maintain, and release Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Costpoint ERP.
- Execute Basic Ordering of Materials to support production builds.
- Review submitted Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) for accuracy and compliance, and manage the change lifecycle.
- Interface closely with hardware and software teams to ensure CM compliance and baseline control.
- Ensure proper configuration controls during release processes and establish configuration baselines.
- Define and prepare status accounting reports, audit reports, and CM metrics.
- Prepare meeting agendas and materials for Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
- Support inventory tracking, traceability, and production scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- U.S. Citizenship is required in accordance with ITAR regulations.
- 5 years minimum direct Configuration Management experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing.
- Hands‑on Costpoint ERP experience required.
- Understanding of Configuration Management (CM) disciplines and requirements.
- Familiarity with SAE/EIA 649 Configuration Management Standard preferred.
- Knowledge of Engineering Release Processes and Procedures.
- Ability to read and understand change requests related to engineering changes.
- Experience with PLM tools for hardware and software version control.
- Basic knowledge of UAS hardware and software development life cycles.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
