Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift – 6:30pm to 7:00am (Night Shift)

Location: Trinity Health Livingston, Howell, Michigan

Pay: $16.29 – $20.85 per hour, based on experience, with shift premiums for afternoons, overnights, and weekend shifts.

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) assists patients in a variety of activities and provides essential care under the direction of a registered nurse, addressing age‑specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs. The PCT helps maintain a clean, safe environment and promotes patient and family wellbeing through relationship‑based care.

• Provide direct patient care, including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation with assistive devices, feeding, and menu selection.
• Collect and send specimens (blood, blood cultures) and insert and remove peripheral IV catheters.
• Record patient information and required data in appropriate documentation systems.
• Assist in completing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and other care tasks under RN supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the patient care environment.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of direct care experience (acute or long‑term) or completion of a CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class in a BSN program.

Weekend and holidays required. Status available:
Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period – every two weeks).
