RN-Emergency nights

Registered Nurse RN position that supports the Trinity Health Brighton Emergency Department (ED).

This is a full‑time, benefits‑eligible role scheduled 24 hours per week: a 12‑hour shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with a weekend and holiday rotation.

Night Shift, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM (36 hrs), every 3rd weekend and holiday

• Supports the Trinity Health Brighton Emergency Department (ED), which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to care for minor and life‑threatening and traumatic medical and surgical problems.
• Staffed with board‑certified or board‑eligible emergency physicians.

• Under limited supervision, assess patients, including developing, evaluating, and modifying the care plan.
• Interpret and perform complex patient‑care procedures specific to your expertise.
• Collaborate as a member of the Care Team and Support Team, accountable for patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• Provide care through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards.
• Serve patients of all age groups (infant through older adults).

• Current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire.
