Medline Industries is hiring a QC Inspector to ensure the quality and safety of products in manufacturing or distribution environments. The role involves inspecting materials, components, and finished products, conducting visual and measurement tests, documenting findings, and reporting defects or discrepancies. The QC Inspector works closely with production or distribution teams to identify and resolve quality issues, contributing to process improvement.
Shift1st shift, starting at 6am daily
Major Responsibilities- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Use measurement tools and equipment to test and verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with respective production or distribution teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, or determine disposition of product.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Assess inbound damaged finished goods and repackage.
- Support various tasks including inventory stock checks, recall stock verifications, handling deviations, relabeling, product rework, pedigree verification, and other assigned projects.
- May be required to operate powered material handling equipment.
- Read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and other documents.
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines, and Medline’s rules and regulations.
Education:
High School Diploma.
Experience with in a Quality Control environment, preferably in manufacturing.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Salary and BenefitsAnticipated Salary Range: $18.50 - $26.75 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
Benefits include health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, and more for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. Employees working less than 30 hours per week receive 401(k) contributions and access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups, and the Employee Service Corp.
