Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1971).

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.25 USD per hour

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and provide knowledgeable information about tools, products, and services available in the store.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Inform guests about brand launches, store activities, and events; promote and enroll guests in Target Loyalty programs as needed.
• Assist guests with use of Target Wallet and Target App features; direct guests to enrollment and activation of fulfillment services.
• Handle returns, follow register prompts, and collaborate with leadership to resolve guest concerns while following policies and procedures.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience in accordance with store policies.
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU returns, and related compliance requirements.
• Assist with cash office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).
• Effective communication, a welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are desirable.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work both independently and as part of a team.
• Cash handling and basic math skills; ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Willingness to comply with safety policies and to participate in required training.
