A day in the life
At our advanced aluminum casting facility in Howell, MI, you arrive at 7:00 AM ready to build, repair, and improve the spaces that keep production running smoothly. By mid-morning you might be framing a partition, hanging drywall, or trimming out a doorway for a renovation. After lunch, you could be installing fixtures, painting a refreshed area, or tackling light electrical tasks like wiring a new light or outlet—no high-voltage work required.
You wrap at 3:00 PM in a clean, organized shop, knowing your craftsmanship directly supports a high-performing manufacturing environment.
We’re a leading aluminum casting manufacturer known for innovation, precision, and quality. As we remodel and upgrade our facility, we’re growing our maintenance and renovation team with professionals who take pride in excellent work and safety.
What you’ll handle- Carpentry and renovation: framing, drywall, finishing, and minor structural repairs.
- Facility improvements and plant construction support.
- Light plumbing, painting, and fixture installations.
- Minor electrical tasks (e.g., wiring lights/outlets; no high-voltage).
- Safe operation of saws, drills, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Inspection of tools/materials and verification of safety and accuracy.
- Clean, safe, organized work areas at all times.
- Teamwork with supervisors and plant staff to hit daily goals.
- Occasional hands‑on mechanical support and other duties as needed.
- 3–5 years in facilities maintenance and carpentry; construction/renovation background preferred.
- Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude (no high-voltage).
- Problem-solving, multitasking, and effective communication.
- Ability to read blueprints or simple building layouts.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks throughout the day.
- Reliability, time management, and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM - Hours:
40–50 per week - Pay: $25.00–$28.00/hour (based on experience)

Full-time; immediate start available. Work projected through March with the potential for long-term employment based on performance. - Overtime:
