Job Description
Job Title: S-61 Pilot in Command (PIC) – Fires
Location: Remote
Reports To: Chief Pilot
CHI Aviation (CHI) is seeking a qualified candidate for a S-61 PIC for fires. This position requires 1,500 minimum PIC hours with emphasis on precision long line skills, including Bambi Bucket experience.
Job Requirements- ATP or Commercial Helicopter license.
- 1500 PIC rotor wing hours.
- Minimum 100 hours precision long line experience.
- Minimum 100 hours PIC helicopter greater than 12,500 lbs.
- Proficient long line experience up to 150'.
- Current Medical Class II.
- Ability to travel/work in remote locations worldwide for extended periods of time.
- Fire fighting experience is preferred.
