ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND - You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those who are looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.
When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You must engage by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you need to respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm your interest in working shifts you do not respond, employment may be terminated.
If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be administratively terminated. The ability to work when the business demands it most is critical to success in this role. You will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After that, the myTime mobile scheduling app is where you can pick up shifts you desire to work.
ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT - Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring quality.

Responsibilities - A typical day will include the following:
- Deliver the service standard to prioritize the guest service experience
- Greet guests and assist with daily tasks to create a welcoming experience
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available to solve issues and improve the guest experience
- Thank guests and acknowledge their visit to Target
- Scan and bag items efficiently and safely, in line with food safety standards and company best practices
- Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- Know and explain Target Loyalty benefits; assist with enrollment as needed; be familiar with fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll and use them
- Explain Wallet and other Target App features to guests
- Handle returns per policy, escalating to leadership as needed
- De-escalate situations with leadership support to recover the guest shopping experience
- Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Stock supplies during store hours and be available for guests
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work safely and report hazards; follow safety policies and training
- Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders and related duties, including compliance with applicable laws
- Assist with Cash Office processes as needed
- All other duties based on business needs
