Dental Assistant

Pay Range:
Up to $24

Dental Assistant – Dentistry for Children in Howell, New Jersey.

Monday through Friday 7:45 am to 5:00 pm. Some Saturdays and Sundays may be required.

• Work with patients to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment.
• Capture diagnostic images.
• Assist the doctors and patients with a wide range of restorative procedures.
• Chart and enter notes in Dentrix.
• Work in a team-oriented environment.
• Advise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concerns.

• X-ray certification preferred or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, restorative, and orthodontics.
• Dental Assisting certificate preferred.
• All required CE credits required by the state.
