Position: Behavior Technician (BT)
  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
  • Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
  • Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Maintain client confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Behavioral Technician, ABA Interns, and co-workers.
  • Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings. relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Experience with kids with special needs: 1 Year (Required)
  • Applied behavior analysis (ABA): 1 year (Preferred)
  • Compensation: $27-40 per hour
  • Job Type: Part-Time (10-15 hours/week depending on the client’s schedule)
  • Free supervision hours and training are available towards your RBT or BCBA certification!

  • Adventure Guide:
    Implement direct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to individuals with autism spectrum disorder under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to manage challenging behaviors and work towards improving client’s social and communication skills, as well as their independence
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and family to ensure effective implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Collect and record data on client’s progress and behaviors, utilizing information to inform & adjust treatment plans
  • Maintain professionalism and a commitment to providing high-quality services, while remaining eager to learn and grow
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for clients by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
