Miller Dedicated Services is immediately hiring for a CDL A Driver out of Howell, NJ
. You will drive a Sleeper Cab with automatic transmission and transport a mix of dry, perishable, fresh, and frozen foods using a refrigerated trailer. No touch (pre-loaded trailer and live unload).

• Starts Sunday or Monday night at 9 PM, then driver will do 1 trip every other day
• If starting Sunday, then driver will run again on Tuesday, then Thursday
• If starting Monday, then driver will run again on Wednesday, then Friday
• Starting day adjusts based on customer volume; end of month typically busier

• Arrive at Howell, NJ at 9:00 PM and check in with shipping office to get load assignment
• Depart to Buffalo, NY area (and/or extra deliveries in the Buffalo area) by 5:00–6:00 AM the next morning
• Check with Operations/Dispatch after delivery to see if a backhaul is needed
• If backhaul is needed, load backhaul and take a 10-hour break; deliver backhaul, then return empty trailer to Howell, NJ
• If no backhaul, return toward Howell, NJ, taking the required 10-hour break along the way
• Return empty trailer to Howell, NJ
• There is one lane to Brattleboro, VT that leaves Thursday nights; scheduling may require weekly or bi-weekly trips

• CDL A
• 2+ years of professional CDL A driving experience
• Ability to be out for 2 days per trip
• Typical trip includes 1 delivery to Buffalo, NY area (possibly 2–3 drops at $25/each after 1st drop)
• 1 weekly roundtrip to Brattleboro, VT (depending on scheduling)
• Backhaul possible ($50 for backhauls)
