Compensation is based on experience: $19.00–$24.50 per hour.

• Adhere to strict safety protocols for charging practices, ensuring personal and equipment safety at all times.
• Operate heavy mobile equipment (front‑end loaders, combi lifts, etc.) with proficiency and care.
• Maintain the furnace and scrap storage areas, keeping them organized, clean, and well‑maintained; perform routine upkeep and basic maintenance on essential equipment such as the charge car, skim car, and forklift.
• Monitor and control the melting furnace and its associated systems to ensure optimal performance and production quality.
• Manage the preheater operation with precision to support the overall melting process.
• Record and manage production data accurately and consistently, ensuring timely documentation of essential metrics for tracking and reporting.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).
• Physical fitness and background clearance, including passing a physical test and background screening.
• Flexible shift availability – ability to work any shift, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior heavy equipment experience preferred (training will be provided).
• Forklift certification – successful completion of the Ellwood Aluminum Forklift Certification training program.
