Commercial Tire Technician

Overview

Valley Tire Co. is an independently owned and operated tire dealership and repair facility. We are a top 50 independent tire dealer in North America.

We have a Full time position available for a Commercial Tire Technician at our Huber Heights location. Experience in the installation and repair of commercial truck tires, and knowledge of the aspects of a Commercial Tire Road Call are preferable, but we are willing to train if necessary. The ideal Tire Technician candidate will be TIA certified, but if not currently TIA certified, we will train to achieve this certification.

Primarily daylight hours.

• Competitive wage, plus excellent after hours technician service rate

• Review repair order requests and perform visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service requirements and materials needed
• Perform tire replacement or minor maintenance services
• Install valve stems and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required; mount tires on wheels and inflate as needed
• Test tire balances to ensure proper weight placement
• Perform short road tests to ensure proper installation
• Review service with customers
• Comply with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations

• Current driver's license in good standing
• Preferred: TIA certification or willingness to obtain certification

Compensation: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
