Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedControllerto lead the financial operations of our international manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inGAAP accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage accounting teams across multiple locations, ensure compliance with international accounting standards, and support business growth through data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company’s financial operations, including general accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance withGAAP, IFRS (if applicable), and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Develop and managebudgets, forecasts, and financial analysesto support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and enforce strong internal controls to mitigate financial risk and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a global accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and financial reviews with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Optimize financial systems, processes, and ERP systems to improve reporting and operational efficiency.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and international financial strategies, ensuring compliance with foreign tax and accounting regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field(CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
- Minimum8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in amanagement rolewithin amanufacturingorinternational businessenvironment.
- Strong knowledge ofGAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience managingmulti-entity, multi-currencyfinancial operations.
- Proficiency inERP systems(SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment.
