Hours:

Full time, with part-time options considered I’m working with a fantastic business who are looking for a Payroll and Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a varied role combining full end-to-end payroll with day-to-day accounts support. You’ll take ownership of the payroll process while also supporting with purchase orders, invoicing and general finance administration.

Key responsibilities:

Process full end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll Prepare payroll output and upload BACS payment files to the bank Process and manage purchase orders Handle inbound and outbound invoicing Manage day-to-day invoicing using Net Suite Support with general accounts administration Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time Liaise with HR regarding payroll information and queries Maintain accurate finance and payroll records You’ll need previous experience processing payroll from start to finish, including BACS payments, alongside a good understanding of general accounts processes.

Experience with Sage payroll and Net Suite would be beneficial, although strong systems experience will be considered. The role is available immediately on a temporary ongoing basis and part-time hours can be considered for the right person. The current requirement is expected to continue while the business reviews its longer-term payroll arrangements, with plans to potentially outsource payroll later in the year.
