INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER
ITP Aero UK are recruiting for an Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Hucknall – UK on a full-time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will:- Be an experienced instrumentation/calibration engineer.
- Be able to demonstrate calibration experience with electrical, Temperature, pressure and vacuum Instrumentation.
- Have clear knowledge and understanding of AMS 2750.
- Have experience and understanding of calibration procedures and standards.
- Be able to work safely and competently on highly technological machinery and process equipment.
- Be to read electrical drawings and navigate HMI and instrumentation operating systems.
- Be familiar with maintenance reporting systems and Indysoft calibration and logging software.
- Have familiarity with Eurotherm control and data logging systems.
- Have an understanding of vacuum systems.
- Have experience with temperature sensors, types and their applications.
- Has a recognised time-served apprenticeship qualification at either city and guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, BTEC National or equivalent.
- Has a minimum of 5 years calibration experience in a lab environment or onsite in an industrial environment.
- Has experience in carrying out planned calibrations, attending breakdowns and instrumentation, machine interface and PLC fault finding.
- Has experience with calibration reporting systems (such as Indysoft).
- Has knowledge of mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of Temperature Uniformity surveys.
- Knowledge of vacuum systems.
- Knowledge of Eurotherm control systems.
- Knowledge of chemical processing.
- Mewp and FLT Training Accreditation.
- Safety Training Accreditation such as IOSH.
You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.
You will work closely with both the Combustion Design & Technology Manager and the Specialist, as well as the Senior Stress Engineers.
What are the working hours?37 hours per week, working on the following 3-Shift Pattern:
Afternoons: 1.48 pm – 9.30 pm Monday-Thursday
1.48 pm – 7.00 pm Friday
