Laundry Assistant

Eachstep Lockwood in Huddersfield require a laundry assistant on a part time basis, 2-4 hours per day on a rota basis. This may include weekends and bank holidays.

• To promote the good name of the Home by ensuring Service
• Users’ clothing, staff uniforms and bed linen are laundered and finished to the agreed standard.
• To adhere to the Company’s infection control policy

• To ensure adequate supplies of all linen are available.
• To assist in stock checks as required.
• To operate all laundry equipment safety and according to

manufacturers’ instructions.cleaning as appropriate.according to manufacturers’ instructions.

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and receipt of two satisfactory references.

• To pre-sort all laundry for wash suitability and arrange for dry
• To wash, iron and finish all items to the agreed standard and
• To hand wash woolens and other items as appropriate.
• Other duties may be required at the discretion of the management.
