Manufacturing Administrator

Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £26,500 - £29,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Hours
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:30am 4:00pm
About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Manufacturing Administrator to join our client in Huddersfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring the accurate processing of orders, quotations, and production documentation while maintaining effective communication across departments.

An immediate start is available for the right candidate following a successful interview.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders, quotations, and administrative documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain and update internal systems, records, and databases
  • Respond to enquiries relating to orders, quotations, and production information
  • Support effective communication and information flow between departments
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines
  • Assist with general office and manufacturing administration duties as required
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong numeracy and data entry skills
  • High levels of accuracy and organisation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or administrative environment would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
