THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator, you'll play a key role in the repair process, ensuring accurate assessments are completed efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service and repair quality throughout.

Key responsibilities include:

· Inspecting damaged vehicles and producing accurate repair estimates using recognised estimating systems.

· Assessing repair methods in line with manufacturer standards and insurance requirements.

· Liaising with customers, insurers, engineers and technicians throughout the repair process.

· Ordering and monitoring required parts to support efficient repairs.

· Managing repair progress and updating customers on vehicle status.

· Ensuring all estimates and documentation are completed accurately and compliantly.

· Working closely with the workshop team to maximise productivity and repair quality.

· Delivering an excellent customer experience from estimate through to vehicle handover.

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor who enjoys working in a fast-paced Bodyshop environment and takes pride in delivering accurate estimates and outstanding customer service.

You will ideally have:

· Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Vehicle Estimator or Bodyshop Estimator within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre.

· Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and insurance repair procedures.

· Experience using estimating software such as Audatex or similar systems.

· Excellent organisational and communication skills.

· The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.

· A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· A full UK driving licence.
