As a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator, you'll play a key role in the repair process, ensuring accurate assessments are completed efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service and repair quality throughout.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting damaged vehicles and producing accurate repair estimates using recognised estimating systems.
- Assessing repair methods in line with manufacturer standards and insurance requirements.
- Liaising with customers, insurers, engineers and technicians throughout the repair process.
- Ordering and monitoring required parts to support efficient repairs.
- Managing repair progress and updating customers on vehicle status.
- Ensuring all estimates and documentation are completed accurately and compliantly.
- Working closely with the workshop team to maximise productivity and repair quality.
- Delivering an excellent customer experience from estimate through to vehicle handover.
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor who enjoys working in a fast-paced Bodyshop environment and takes pride in delivering accurate estimates and outstanding customer service.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Vehicle Estimator or Bodyshop Estimator within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and insurance repair procedures.
- Experience using estimating software such as Audatex or similar systems.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- A full UK driving licence.
