Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable main dealer in Huddersfield, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their well-established team. This Vehicle Technician role offers a competitive basic salary of up to £39,000 with an OTE of £42,570. You will benefit from Monday to Friday working hours (08:00 - 17:00), no weekend work, and overtime available at time and a half. The dealership provides comprehensive manufacturer training from the outset, alongside excellent job security and clear progression opportunities within a large automotive group.

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and inspections for wear and faults
• Complete repairs and maintenance according to DVSA standards
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate work records and ensure full compliance with warranty and service processes
• Contribute to a team environment dedicated to high standards of workmanship

• Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Own set of tools
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a dealership or similar environment
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
