Quantity Surveyor | Fit-Out Contractor | West Yorkshire | £55k - £60k + Package

We’re working with a well-established fit‑out contractor to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of retail, hospitality, and leisure projects across the UK.

This is an office‑based role, working as part of a close‑knit commercial team, supporting projects from pre‑construction through to final account. Schemes typically range from small works packages through to major fit‑out projects up to £3m, delivering high‑quality, fast‑paced environments for well‑known brands.

They are looking for a commercially aware Quantity Surveyor who can take ownership of multiple projects, not just assist—someone confident managing costs, subcontractors, and client relationships within a fit‑out environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing project costs from pre‑construction through to final account
  • Preparing and reviewing tender packages and subcontractor procurement
  • Producing valuations, applications for payment, and cost reports
  • Managing variations, change control, and commercial risk
  • Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
  • Supporting estimating and pre‑construction where required
  • Monitoring project performance against budgets and programme
  • Ensuring strong commercial governance across multiple live projects
What You Will Need
  • Proven experience operating as a Quantity Surveyor within fit‑out or interiors
  • Background in commercial, retail, or hospitality projects desirable
  • Strong understanding of cost control and commercial management
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
  • Good knowledge of subcontract procurement and contract administration
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Degree qualified or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
Why Apply
  • Opportunity to work on a range of high‑quality interior fit‑out projects
  • Office‑based role with a stable and supportive commercial team
  • Strong pipeline of repeat business with established clients
  • Clear opportunity for progression within a growing contractor
