Primary Care Physician, Medical Doctor
An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and compassionate
GP to join our dynamic PCN.This role offers the opportunity to work with forward-thinking practices with friendly teams andstrong support network.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide rangeof primary care services, including acute consultations, chronic disease management, home visits (usually0-1 per day/week), and reviewing and actioningresults.
About usWe are a diverse team of salaried GP's HWBC's, Paramedics, Pharmacists and FCPs all working together to provide excellent patient care. There is a wide and diverse range of practices incorporating a University population and a homeless / asylum seeking population.
Job responsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, including consultations,examinations, treatments, follow-up, and referrals where indicated.
Manage long-term conditions, offering advice and treatment planstailored to individual patient needs.
Participate in practice meetings, audits, and clinical governanceactivities to ensure continuous improvement.
Engage in professional development to stay updated with the latestmedical guidelines and best practices.
Contribute to the practice's quality improvement initiatives and helpshape the future direction of the practice.
Person Specification Qualifications- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Inclusion on the GP Register and NHS Performers List.
- The applicant must be within two years of completing their GP VTS training (post CCST).
- Ability to provide medical care to students, asylum seekers and homeless patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and work within 8 practices throughout the Network
- Willingness to contribute to the development and growth of the PCN.
- Demonstrate an ability to work during busy holiday seasons and also work some extended access hours.
- The applicant must be within two years of completing their GP VTS training (post CCST).
- Experience with working with atypical patient populations
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
