In the role of PTHP Biology lecturer you will predominantly be based at our Huddersfield site and focus on delivering high quality lessons to our BTEC Applied Science students in your specialism of Biology. You may also have tutor responsibilities.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not exhaustive:

• Teaching students as required delivering a high quality teaching and learning experience.
• Managing the effective organisation of the course by establishing syllabuses, schemes of work and any records as determined by the College.
• Maintaining class registers, lists of students and records of their work and engaging in administrative work directly associated with students, such as monitoring progress and marking of student work, recording on internal systems and working with the team to ensure quality standards are met.

Ideally, you'll have a degree in your subject specialism (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience in teaching. Effective communication with young people and demonstration of our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence are required. You must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
