Hourly rate paid at £14.00/hr for assistant coaches (minimum of NGB Level 1 qualification required for assisting) and £17.00/hr for lead coaches (minimum of NGB Level 2 qualification required for leading).
Discretional sessional hours per week (including evenings and weekends).
We are seeking purpose-driven Casual Community Youth Workers to support the delivery of the Foundation’s charitable programmes across Community Engagement. These roles will be crucial in supporting children in educational & community settings across Kirklees—ensuring our community can grow through learning and opportunity, belong through connection and inclusion, and thrive through improved wellbeing.
Responsibilities- Deliver practical sessions on a range of programmes to young people and adults across Kirklees.
- Plan, organise and deliver engaging and fun sessions relevant to participants and the overarching aims of the projects.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, indoors and outdoors, and travel to different locations.
- Support the Foundation’s goals of Grow, Belong and Thrive by fostering learning, connection, inclusion and wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents and community staff.
- Experienced and qualified Youth Worker with a proven track record of delivering programme sessions.
- Experience working in schools, community settings, and with diverse groups of young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- For assistant coaches, minimum NGB Level 1 qualification required.
- For lead coaches, minimum NGB Level 2 qualification required.
