Behaviour Mentor

Do you live in or around the Huddersfield Area? Have you got what it takes to be a Behaviour Mentor to provide support to children who need it the most?

Your focus as a Behaviour Mentor will be on supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural challenges to thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor:

Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group behavioural support.
Implement interventions to improve behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Foster trusting relationships that encourage engagement and self-confidence.
Work alongside teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to maintain consistency of support.
Track student progress and provide feedback to senior leaders.

Candidate Requirements to be an outstanding Behaviour Mentor:

Experience with young people with SEMH or behavioural needs.
Confident, calm, and empathetic approach.
Skilled in de-escalation, mentoring, and communication.
Team player with a proactive, solution-focused attitude.
