In September 2024 we opened a brand new Additionally Resourced Provisions (ARP) for pupils with complex communication & interaction (CCI) need that is sited within Nether hall St James C of E (VC) Infant & Nursery school.

The ARP provides support for pupils with Complex Communication & Interaction (CCI) needs, their families and the main school. You will be an integral part of the support team including an ARP Lead, Specialist Teacher, HLTA and ETA’s to support the learning and welfare of all targeted pupils.

Support students to make good academic and social progress in the ARP and mainstream lessons, through a clear knowledge and understanding of the student’s personal needs, strategies for learning, intervention and good communication with all stakeholders.

• Strong communication and language skills
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Knowledge of the complexities of needs highlighted within young people’s Education, Health Care Plan (EHCP)
• Resilience and compliance with statutory and moral obligations as a trusted adult
