Are you a passionate RE Teacher who can inspire students to explore different beliefs, cultures, and perspectives?
A welcoming secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically, engage in meaningful discussion, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
The Role:- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum
- Encourage respectful discussion and critical thinking within the classroom
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community
- Holds UK QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
- Can engage and motivate students of all abilities
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is committed to promoting tolerance, understanding, and academic achievement

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
