RE Teacher (Religious Education)

Location: Huddersfield

Pay: £168 - £250 per day

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Start Date: September 2026

Are you a passionate RE Teacher who can inspire students to explore different beliefs, cultures, and perspectives?

A welcoming secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically, engage in meaningful discussion, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Encourage respectful discussion and critical thinking within the classroom
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Holds UK QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
  • Can engage and motivate students of all abilities
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is committed to promoting tolerance, understanding, and academic achievement
