Youth Worker In Schools

Do you have experience working with children or teenagers in a youth work or support setting? Are you confident building relationships and helping students overcome barriers to learning? Do you live in Huddersfield or surrounding areas?

This is a rewarding and dynamic role working within a school environment, supporting young people who may need additional guidance and encouragement. No two days will be the same—you will be working closely with pupils to support their emotional wellbeing, behaviour and engagement with education. You will provide both in‑class and pastoral support, helping students build confidence, develop social skills and stay focused on their learning.

Using your experience, you will help manage behaviour positively and support students in making better choices inside and outside the classroom.

• Experienced working with young people in a youth work, mentoring or support role
